NEVADA COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers, Truckee Town Hall, 10183 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, California, the Nevada County Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing for the following project: 1:00 p.m. PLN19-0006; CUP19-0001; MGT19-0004; EIS19-0007: An application to the Zoning Administrator for a Conditional Use Permit and Management Plan for a 36-acre meadow restoration project along Dry Creek. The Conditional Use Permit is to allow the placement of fill in a floodplain, and the Management Plan is to address disturbance within the setbacks of a waterway/wetlands. LOCATION: 18888 Dog Valley Road, Truckee, CA 96161 (APN 016-080-023)located approximately 10 miles north of Truckee. RECOMMENDED ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Recommend approval of a Mitigated Negative Declaration (EIS19-0007). RECOMMENDED PROJECT ACTION: Recommend approval of the Conditional Use Permit (CUP19-0001) and Management Plan (MGT19-0004). PLANNER: Sadie Caldas, Associate Planner (530) 265-1345. You have the right to attend the Zoning Administrator meeting and public hearing to provide oral testimony and comment, and/or to submit written materials regarding the potential actions. Any person wishing to offer testimony on this matter should appear at the public hearing or may submit written comments (an original and 5 copies) to the Zoning Administrator at or prior to the scheduled meeting. The Zoning Administrator may place reasonable restrictions on the time allowed to any person to speak on these matters. Any person speaking on behalf of an organization or group who wishes additional time must have a written statement signed by an officer of that organization stating that she/he is authorized to speak on behalf of that body, and that she/he is relaying the majority thinking thereof.
