NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the date and time indicated below to receive and consider the statements of all persons who wish to be heard relative to this application. MEETING DATE / TIME: Thursday, June 16, 2020 (4:00 PM) MEETING LOCATION: Virtual Hearing, Truckee, California PROJECT NAME: Frishman Hollow II APPLICATION #: 2019-00000074/DP-UP-AMD PROJECT LOCATION: 11188 & 11200 Rue Ivy (APN 019-410-041 & -046) OWNER: Town of Truckee APPLICANT: Chris Grant, The Pacific Companies PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On February 27, 2020, the Planning Commission approved a Development Permit, Project Amendment and Use Permit 68-unit affordable housing project (50% to 80% area median income) and 136 new parking spaces in Phase 2 of Frishman Hollow. Four buildings (two buildings with 30 units each on the south side of the property and two fourplexes on the north side of the property) were approved. Grading permits for the site work have been issued. As part of the review, the applicants were required to return to the Planning Commission to review the landscape plan, architecture, and recreational amenities before completion of the project. The applicants have submitted a revised landscape plan, architecture modifications, and recreational amenities for Planning Commission's review. No other changes have been proposed. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: Staff has determined that the proposed changes are consistent with the approved Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (SCH #2020019071) for Frishman Hollow II and no additional environmental review is necessary.
