SEEKING PUBLIC INPUT ON THE BIJOU PARK CREEK WATERSHED RESTORATION PROJECT & ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW The City of South Lake Tahoe (City) is seeking public input on the design and potential environmental issues for the Bijou Park Creek Watershed Restoration Project (Project). The purpose of the Project is to address declining water quality, nuisance flooding, and degradation of the Bijou Park Creek Stream Environment Zone (SEZ) that has occurred within the watershed. These goals would be achieved by implementing stormwater management improvements and restoring and enhancing the function of the SEZ in the eastern portion of the City of South Lake Tahoe. A virtual public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 2:00-5:00pm via: CouncilPlanning-Commission-Me. The meeting will be held as a virtual workshop and attendees are welcome to participate in the live viewing or view a recorded version of the presentation online. Attendees may submit written or oral comments during the live meeting, or can email written comments to Email Me or mail comments to Mr. Jason Burke, City of South Lake Tahoe, RE: BPCW Restoration, 1740 D Street, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
