LEGAL PUBLICATION CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE ORDINANCE 2019-1132 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 15, 2019, the City of South Lake Tahoe City Council passed Ordinance 2019-1133 by the following vote: Yes: Collin, Laine, Middlebrook and Wallace Recuse: Bass First Reading: October 1, 2019 Published: October 4, 2019 Effective: November 15, 2019 "An Ordinance approving a Development Agreement with Redefining Organics, LLC for the Development and Use of Property within the City of South Lake Tahoe as a Cannabis Microbusiness" City Attorney's Summary of Ordinance: "This ordinance would approve a 5-year Development Agreement with Redefining Organics, LLC, for the operation of a cannabis microbusiness in South Lake Tahoe with the potential for one 5-year extension. In accordance with California's definition of a microbusiness, Redefining Organics will be able to cultivate (in a 10,000 square foot canopy), manufacture, and distribute cannabis products. The microbusiness will be located at 1090 Industrial Avenue. The Development Agreement is consistent with South Lake Tahoe City Code 6.55.790, et seq., which authorizes the execution of development agreements and sets forth the required content. Redefining Organics will provide the City with a community benefit fee equal to 6% of gross receipts for manufacturing and distribution, and a community benefit fee equal to $20 per square foot of permitted cultivation canopy space (not to exceed 6% of gross receipts)."
